Who they are
The Liberal Democrats’ selection announcement describes Dempsey’s work in nature restoration and humanitarian organisations, including Save the Children. He has a doctorate in nature conservation from the University of Sussex and previously served as a Mid Sussex district councillor for Hassocks. He also stood in East Grinstead and Uckfield at the 2024 general election.
